OAP Service Packages

 

For Those Families Receiving OAP Funding After April 1, 2019

Examples of some packages we have put together for families received lump-sum payments from MCYSS:


Those Families with children OVER the age of 6 may choose to spend their funding in a variety of different ways:


#1 “Make it Last” (slow paced intervention, but a longer duration of service):

  • 4 hours 1:1 per week for 20 weeks = 88 hours of service

  • One hour of analysis and supervision bi-weekly by BCBA (10 hours of analysis and supervision)



#2 “Front Loaded” (more hours and a  shorter duration)

  • 8 hrs 1:1 per week for 10 weeks = 80 hrs

  • One hour of analysis and supervision bi-weekly by BCBA (5 hours of supervision and analysis)

#3 Customized Package (individualized package for any hours or duration)

  • From 4 hours, up to 35 hours per week of 1:1 intervention

  • minimum of 12 week commitment required 

  • hourly rate + initial fee includes BCBA supervision requirements



Those Families with Children UNDER the Age of 6, can choose from different intensity levels:

#1 High Intensity for Shorter Duration

  • 28 hrs per week for 12 weeks = 336 hours

  • 1.5 hours of weekly BCBA supervision and analysis



#2 Moderate Intensity for Longer Duration

  • 10 hrs per week for 32 weeks = 320 hrs

  • 1 hour of bi-weekly BCBA analysis and supervision



#3 Customized Package (individualized package for any hours or duration)

  • From 6 hours, up to 35 hours per week of 1:1 intervention

  • minimum of 12 week commitment required 

  • hourly rate + initial start up fee includes BCBA supervision requirements 




Please note that these are just examples, and all interventions are designed specifically around your child's needs and your family's situation.  

All packages include an Instructor Therapist for all 1:1 hours described in each package.  Packages also include ongoing data collection and monitoring by a BCBA or Senior Therapist, as well as ongoing program development and behaviour reduction ~ up to 2 hours bi-weekly (varies depending on number of hours of 1:1 and your child’s progression).
